Transformations Exhibition

In this digital age, our lives and activities are underpinned by coding and algorithms, visible to different extents. My background in science and mathematics supports an interest in mapping movement and creating transformations of geometric shapes.

"Transformations" is about shape and space, influenced by the three dimensional outlines created during dance movement. I wanted to create an enclosed environment displaying directions in all planes, evoking the idea of a kinesphere surrounding the dancer.  The triangle is an abstraction of a figure, transforming its shape from one form to another.
